RULES FOR VISITORS

As with all NASCAR events, spectators attending the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas must adhere to the regulations set by the event organizers. Security staff are present throughout the venue to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Prohibited items

For safety and security reasons, certain items are not allowed inside the circuit. Anything that could endanger others, disrupt the event, or interfere with race operations is strictly forbidden. This includes items or merchandise intended for resale. All attendees are subject to security checks at the entry gates, and refusal to comply may result in denied entry without a refund.

To prevent delays or issues at the gate, it’s best to review the official list of prohibited items published by Circuit of the Americas before your visit.

The following examples represent some of the most frequently restricted items (note that this list is not exhaustive):

  • Aerosol cans (except for sunscreen, sunblock, hand sanitizer, or bug spray)
  • Animals (service animals only permitted)
  • Coolers of any kind
  • Displays of the Confederate flag or any other offensive imagery
  • Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
  • Dry ice
  • Firearms or weapons of any kind
  • Fireworks
  • Frisbees, beach balls, balloons, or any other projectile items
  • Glass or ceramic containers
  • Illegal substances
  • Knives longer than 3" when closed or 6" when open
  • Laser pointers, noise makers, or air horns
  • Obscene or indecent clothing
  • Seat cushions with armrests
  • Selfie sticks
  • Skateboards, roller skates, hoverboards, or bicycles
  • Tripods and monopods

What you can bring

To make your visit to the NASCAR Cup race as smooth as possible, it’s best to keep things simple and pack only what you really need. Bring your phone, a power bank or spare camera batteries, some cash, and your race tickets for each day. Adults should carry a valid photo ID, and it’s also wise to have identification for any children in your group. Travelling light helps you move through security faster and lets you focus on enjoying the action on the track.

The following items are permitted inside the circuit:

  • Binoculars, scanners, and headsets – may be worn around the neck, on a belt, or carried in a bag.
  • Blankets and clothing – suitable for comfort throughout the day.
  • Cameras – personal use only.
  • Chairs (collapsible) – permitted in General Admission seating areas only.
  • Computers, tablets, and iPads – laptops are allowed.
  • Empty insulated cups – up to 64 ounces maximum.
  • Flags – must be attached to a pencil-sized wooden stick and not obstruct the view of other fans.
  • Food and beverages (pre-packaged and sealed) – no glass or alcohol. Each fan may bring one non-alcoholic beverage of 20 oz or less.
  • Hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and bug spray – permitted in aerosol, gel, or liquid form.
  • Service animals – permitted in accordance with ADA regulations.
  • Seat cushions – allowed if they do not have armrests.
  • Scooters – must be ADA-compliant.
  • Strollers (collapsible umbrella type) – permitted.
  • Umbrellas – allowed in General Admission areas only.
  • Wagons – allowed in General Admission areas but not inside the grandstands.

Bags policy

Each guest may bring a maximum of two bags through the admission gates.

  • Backpacks may not exceed 18" x 18" x 14"
  • Clutch or fanny packs may not be larger than 4.5" x 6.5"
