Traveling by car

Circuit of the Americas provides a variety of official parking options conveniently located around the venue, as well as some off-site alternatives nearby. To help make your race weekend as smooth as possible, here are a few practical tips and detailed directions for the most commonly used parking areas.

Plan ahead

Before heading to COTA, plan your route using GPS or a navigation app. Check for live traffic updates, road closures, and detours to avoid unnecessary delays.

Arrive early

Aim to arrive early on race day to beat the traffic, find your parking spot with ease, and complete ticket and security checks without stress. Early arrival also gives you time to explore the fan zones and soak up the pre-race atmosphere.

Follow event signage

Directional signs and event staff will guide you toward the correct entrances and parking areas. Always follow posted instructions, as traffic flow patterns may change depending on event day conditions.

Directions to the parking lot

Below are the best routes for reaching the main parking lots: A, C, E, F, H, N, and T. For parking information, click here.

Lots A (including ADA parking), N, and T

From Austin / Dallas

• Head south on TX-130 S (toll).
• Take Exit 453 toward FM-812.
• Turn left onto FM-812.
• Continue for 1.5 miles, then follow event signage for individual lots.

From San Antonio / San Marcos / New Braunfels

• Head north on I-35.
• Take Exit 223A for TX-45 E (toll).
• Continue to Exit 453 for FM-812.
• Turn right onto FM-812, drive 1.5 miles, and follow signage to your lot.

From Houston / Bastrop

• Drive west on State Hwy 71 W to the TX-21 W exit toward San Marcos.
• Turn left onto TX-21 and continue about 10 miles to the FM-812 W exit.
• Turn right onto FM-812, continue 5 miles, and follow signage for your designated lot.

Lots C, E, F, and H

From Austin / Dallas

• Head south on TX-130 S (toll).
• Take Exit 451 toward Elroy Rd.
• Turn left onto Elroy Rd and continue 2 miles to COTA Blvd.
• Turn right onto COTA Blvd and follow the signs to your lot.

From San Antonio / San Marcos / New Braunfels

• Head north on I-35 and take Exit 223A for TX-45 E (toll).
• Continue to Exit 451 for Elroy Rd.
• Turn right onto Elroy Rd, then right onto COTA Blvd.
• Follow signage to your designated parking lot.

From Houston / Bastrop

• Drive west on State Hwy 71 W and take the Kellam Rd / Ross Rd exit.
• Turn left onto Kellam Rd and continue 3.5 miles to Elroy Rd.
• Proceed straight onto COTA Blvd, then follow signage to your lot.
